Academy Awards: The World's Glitziest Fashion Show
From Gucci and Valentino to Dolce & Gabbana and Dior, it's a designer's dream come true to have Hollywood's brightest wear your fabulous frocks on Oscar night.
But come Sunday night, who will steal the red carpet spotlight?
One thing is for sure: all eyes will be on first time host Ellen DeGeneres.
Our Jon Kelley wondered if she needed any last minute wardrobe ideas from some of the headline making gowns of yesteryear.
But Ellen joked that if she was to go glam, she's needed to “get breast implants,” adding, “If I'm going to wear a dress, I'm going to show some leg.”
Of J Lo's dress, Ellen said, “I remember when she borrowed that that night."
Of course, all over town, Hollywood's glamour girls are in a last minute frenzy as they get plucked at Beverly Hills eyebrow salon Anastasia's and then cut and coiffed at Frederic Fekkai's, where we found Oscar winner Marcia Gay Harden.
Meanwhile, the parties have already started and the pre-Oscar suites are loaded with sweets.
“Extra” found “Dreamgirl” Jennifer Hudson going for some serious bling from Celestial, A Diamond Affair.
But Jen might also want to check out Marie Claire's luxury lounge, where “Ugly Betty's” Becky Newton found the perfect accessory: a bag.
“What you need to know about this bag is it's specifically designed to hold the Oscar,” Becky joked.
We also spotted a very pregnant Tori Spelling with her hubby as they checked out baubles at the Silver Spoon penthouse, while Vanessa Williams eyed some shimmering stiletto heels at the Stuart Weitzman lounge where you'll find a million dollar Oscar night surprise!
Tune into the 79th Annual Academy Awards Sunday night on ABC.
