Hollywood Starlets Dazzle on Globes Red Carpet
Hollywood's leading ladies dazzled on this year's red carpet – literally -- as Kate, Cameron, Drew and Renée chose elegant gowns, minimal makeup and a healthy dose of diamonds.
An angelic Kate Winslet wowed the world in a white strapless Azzarro column dress, red lipstick, a soft swept up-do and Chopard diamonds, while Hilary Swank opted for a retro glam black gown and '60s siren hair complete with a diamond-encrusted brooch to complete the red-carpet look.
Jennifer Garner shimmied onto the red carpet with hubby Ben Affleck; she chose a white and metallic sequined dress and opted to wear her hair down as she cuddled up to her other half while making her way inside the Beverly Hilton.
The world's most buzzed about couple, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, channeled classic Hollywood glamour as Dad Brad opted for a classic tux and Angie dazzled in a charcoal gray St. John gown and swept up hair.
Golden Globe winner Penélope Cruz was all romance in a black Chanel couture gown, complete with soft flowing caplet sleeves and a fitted waistline.
Jennifer Lopez, who is never afraid to take a fashion risk, sizzled with a '60s style hairdo and a goddess-like, one-shouldered black Marchesa gown complete with golden trim.
Beyoncé, who was nominated for Best Actress, made sure to bring her own gold to the awards show, stepping out in a golden, glitzy dress.
The jeans loving Drew Barrymore was just stunning, as her strapless, pearl pink John Galliano for Christian Dior dress took her to the top of this year's best dressed list. With minimal makeup and jewelry, this Grecian-inspired dress was the epitome of true elegance.
Cameron Diaz made a bold statement in a one-shouldered nude, ruffled tulle gown, complete with a black jeweled bow belt, bright red lips and millions of dollars worth of diamonds.
“Grey's Anatomy's” Katherine Heigl traded in her scrubs for a beautiful black gown, which gracefully swept the ground and had a cinched sash just below the waistline. Heigl also opted for an elegant up-do and a beautiful diamond necklace.
America Ferrera proved “Ugly” is the new beautiful. The night's big winner glowed in a custom-made purple Brian Reyes gown.
While not every leading lady could win an award this year, these ladies proved you don't have to take home a Golden Globe to look like royalty on one of Hollywood's biggest night!
